Tangerang Regency (ANTARA) – Deputy Chief of the Jakarta City Police Brigadier General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy said that Deputy Chief of the Tangerang City Metro Police AKBP Yolanda Evalyn Sebayang was injured in the blocking and destruction of a mining truck in Salembaran Jaya Village, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Thursday.
AKBP Yolanda Evalyn Sebayang suffered a laceration to the back of her head after being hit by a car while providing security at the scene of the incident (TKP).
“At that moment, the situation was very critical. Our Deputy Chief of Police became the target of false accusations from angry residents at that time,” said Wiyoto in Tangerang, Thursday.
He said the middle-aged male victim is currently receiving medical treatment and his condition is better.
In addition, a number of police officers also experienced similar things while carrying out security duties.
“Head of Deputy Chief of Police, and currently he is recovering in hospital,” he added.
In this case, the responsible party has not yet determined the perpetrator responsible for the incident, but has ensured that the situation and conditions of the place are safe.
He appealed to all elements of society in Teluknaga and Kosambi, Tangerang Regency to be able to restrain themselves and not be provoked by the situation following the accident and death.
Because, he added, the team from the Tangerang City Metro Police Resort had made handling efforts by securing the paraphernalia of the mining truck driver.
“For drivers who become third parties after threatening local residents, we will immediately secure them and conduct urine tests,” he said.
